“Tattooed” eyebrows
I went to visit one of my really good girlfriend’s just before the holidays to see how she was doing. Since I am a very busy woman, it is always nice and joyful to see good friends I haven’t seen for a long time. It’s always nice to chat, gossip, and “catch-up” with them as well. Not only did I visit my girlfriend for a visit, but she had a new “transformation” too. Guess? My girlfriend got her eyebrows permanently “tattooed.”
I know that the thought and idea of getting your eyebrows permanently “tattooed” may sound crazy or absurd, but it was my girlfriend’s personal choice to permanently get them done…for good. Say what?? I totally understand that it is the individual’s choice to make these types of beauty-care choices, but why the heck would you want your own eyebrows “tattooed?” Are you kidding me?? Well since she was very happy with her results…my girlfriend was not complaining at all. She only paid $100 for her eyebrows to be permanently “tattooed” forever. Wow.
But I have read stories and heard from people that “tattooing” your eyebrows are the “biggest” thing on the beauty “market” right now. Is it? Really? I was a bit blown away. I’ve heard of many people getting their eyelashes permanently “thickened” or “tattooed” too. I don’t know how that works, but that sounds like a very expensive cosmetic procedure to go through for just a short visit to the doctor’s office.
My girlfriend told me that getting her eyebrows permanently “tattooed” did not hurt at all. I looked at her in complete “shock” and asked…”Are you sure?” She replied, “yes.” My girlfriend did a brief, thorough consultation before getting her eyebrows done permanently “tattooed.” She said the whole entire procedure along with the process of getting them done was not long, and did “sting” a little bit. My girlfriend said her doctor used a procedure where they use a tattoo “gun” to laser remove all your eyebrow hair, and then use the tattoo “gun” to permanently “draw” in your eyebrows. Wow, doesn’t that sound like a painful procedure? It kind of reminds me when I first got my Brazilian wax done for the very first time, but a rather very different experience.
A tattoo “gun?” I would be totally afraid and scared to “death” of having any form of gun or “devices” near my eyebrows or “eye” area. I currently wear glasses, and do have plans to have Lasik eye surgery done in the near future, but the thought of having a tattoo “gun” near my eyebrows is frightening. Don’t you think?
My girlfriend also pointed out that during her cosmetic eyebrow “tattoo” procedure, the doctor put on a softening, moisturizing eyebrow cream to help take down the “redness” and “swelling” a bit within 24 hours of getting the procedure done. I have thought about getting my eyebrows permanently “tattooed” in the past too…but I understand that fashion, style, and beauty will always somewhat change every season during the year. So there is absolutely no point of getting my eyebrows permanently “tattooed.” Sure, it is nice and all to not apply anymore eyebrow pencil to your brows, but to me…having your eyebrows permanently “tattooed” looks a bit “fake.” I am not saying my girlfriend’s eyebrows looks fake, but I don’t think it would look “natural” on my eyebrows.
But it is the individual’s choice to getting their eyebrows permanently “tattooed” or not. What do you think about permanent cosmetic eyebrow “tattoos?”
