Benefit Cosmetics: “Eyecon”

Benefit Cosmetics: “Eyecon”

I was introduced to Benefit cosmetics a few years ago by my best friend who was a huge fan of this women’s beauty care line. Since I love makeup, this was a new cosmetic line that I was willing to try out. I used to wear the Clinique cosmetic care line sold in various department and boutique stores around the world before being introduced to Benefit cosmetics. Since I have sensitive skin, I was hoping this new cosmetics would not irritate my skin. I used to work in the cosmetic department of a retail store in the past. As part of my makeup consultant job with my customer service experience, part of my duties was to test different types of make-up and helping customers with beauty and cosmetic care. It was a huge reward for me to help customers out since I am a huge beauty expert and beauty care buff.

Benefit cosmetics was something extremely new and trying this new line could really benefit me. My friend told me some of the things she bought from the beauty care line. I was very excited to hear about the stuff she had in her make-up bag. The next day I immediately went to my nearest shopping mall to check out the Benefit cosmetic line at the department store. My friend went with me as well to help me out with some make-up shopping. We went to the Macy’s cosmetic department store and easily found the Benefit counter. As we approached the counter, a gorgeous red-head brunette sales lady asked us if we needed any help. Her name was Autumn. Not only was the sales lady helpful, she was extremely informative as well.

Autumn asked me if I’ve ever used Benefit cosmetics before. I said no, but my friend said she has. She introduced me to the different types of make-up and beauty care being sold behind the glass displays. The sales lady’s customer service skills were superb and she was very knowledgeable with her information about the whole cosmetic line. She gave me a brief history behind the Benefit care line. Benefit was created by two identical twin sisters named Jean and Jane Ford in San Francisco in 1976. The Ford twins first created a beauty boutique and added make-up as one of their new found passions. Not only did the twin sisters make their cosmetic care line fun, but created quick beauty fixes and dilemmas for women. Due to the sister’s success, Benefit cosmetics have grown into a global empire and beauty brand.

While at the Benefit counter, Autumn introduced me to the new “You Rebel” tinted moisturizer. She had me sit on the make-up stool and started to apply the tinted moisturizer on my face with a foundation brush. Next, she looked at my under eye circles and recommended the “eyecon” brightening eye cream. Once Autumn applied the “eyecon” eye cream on my under eye circles, my eyes instantly started to pop open. I usually have puffy under eye raccoon eyes in the mornings and sometimes feel tired through the day. This was a new eye cream I was in love with. This brightening eye cream fades dark circles and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles. It makes your eyes feeling refreshed and awake! This is best applied both in the morning and at night. “Eyecon” brightening eye cream include extracts of sweet almond, apple fruit and japonica leaf that works wonderfully beautiful on tired eyes. For a 0.50 oz size, the price ranges about $30. It may seem very pricey, but this “eyecon” brightening eye cream actually really works wonders. You will get very good results if you do invest in this amazing “eyecon” cream.
